Aduke Odeniyi - I Dance

Aduke Odeniyi, the Nigerian gospel music minister and songwriter, releases her second single “I Dance” following her well-received debut “Oru Mbo”.

“I Dance,” produced by Emmajay Strings, is a song of praise that exalts and glorifies God. Despite our circumstances, the mid-tempo tune inspires us to give God thanks, praise, and dance.

I wrote this song when nothing was working well in my life. She continues, “No job, my business sank – the pain and trauma I cannot describe.” Then it occurred to me that I had not made it this far on my own. My prayer is that God’s words of joy, healing, breakthrough, peace, mercy, and victory always surround me. I began giving thanks and praising God and have danced in joy through difficult times ever since. “God is still God in good times as well as in bad times,” Aduke added, “This is to remind us that God has crowned us with glory and honour (Psalm 8:5).” He has also given us beauty for ashes (Isaiah 61:3) so ‘I DANCE’” “God wants us to give thanks in all situations 1 Thessalonians 5:18” She concluded

The “I Dance” music video was shot and directed by award-winning video director, Akin Alabi Films. Take a look below.
